Quotable Rogue - Book Review

The Quotable Rogue - The Idelas of Sarah Palin In Her Own Words

Edited and with a Foreword by Matt Lewis (Senior Contributor to The Daily Caller)

I received this book from Thomas Nelson Publishers in exchange for my honest review of it.

This is a great book in my opinion. It's a breathe of fresh air to be able to read a book that has quoted a person correctly. Although I disagree with some of her views, I love this book. She is an honest person and has her own views. She hasn't let anyone tell her how she should think.

I would suggest this book to anyone who likes Sarah Palin, heck, even the ones who don't like her should read it just so they know where she stands on very important issues.

God's Promises for the American Patriot - Book Review

God's Promises for the American Patriot - Deluxe Edition by Dr. Richard G. Lee and Jack Countryman, published by Thomas Nelson

God's Promises has got to be THE most beautiful book that I have seen in a very long time.

For more than 200 years God's promises have led our country - but it does not seem as if the people today are letting him. The government has taken God out of almost everything and I believe that is one of the main reasons that America is failing our people.

This book is full of great patriot stories from Martin Luther King Jr, Dwight D Eisenhower, Daniel Webster and many many more. As with each story, there are also great scriptures to go along with each one.

Every AMERICAN needs to read this book and get back to the roots of what God and America together MEANS!!

No He Can't - Book Review

No He Can't: How Barack Obama Is Dismantling Hope and Change by Kevin McCullough

I, for one among thousands, do NOT like Obama and believe that he has run this country into the ground. And this book did NOT change my mind about him as I knew it wouldn't.

I've never really paid attention to all the goings on in Washington until Obama became president. I do NOT respect him and will NOT put the word president before his name. But as soon as our country started going to the dogs I rose up to pay more attention.

This book is very well written, readable and easy to understand. It is a MUST read for ALL Americans, both those who do not like him and for the ones who voted for him. It will give a better understanding on most issues.

Unsinkable - Book Review

For most kids age 16 embarking on a journey such as this would scare the heck out of them but Abby knew EXACTLY what she wanted and what she was doing. She may have been 16 in age but well beyond that in common sense. This book is a must read for everyone, especially teenagers. This book is proof that dreams can become realities. I love the fact that this book includes real photos of Abby and her family.

Reading this book is like you are right there in the boat with Abby discovering all the same things and feelings that she did. Abby is an amazing young woman.

This is a very interesting book and I suggest that everyone read it.

Time With God For Fathers - Book Review

I received the Time with God for Fathers devotional by Jack Countryman from Thomas Nelson Publishing!!
I would recommend this book for all fathers, old and new! It will strengthen your walk with God and offers sound Biblical guidance for you and your family. The book also includes a list of Biblical references for topics in the back of the book, as well as a section for notes at the back of the book. The topics chosen are absolutely fantastic and the verses selected are vital to a father's faith walk.

This would make a great gift for any father, father to be, etc. Great devotionals throughout the whole book. It is also the perfect size for travel.

The Fight of Our Lives - Book Review

For anyone who REALLY wants to know what is going on in the world today...this book is IT!
The book did an excellent job citing a variety of sources as well as quoting informed/well known public figures. This backbone of quotes and professional opinions added hugely to the credibility of the book as well as driving home the sobering message the book brought.
This book is definitely a wake-up call for America and its people. Some people choose to ignore what's going on around them and some just do not care. They all need to read this book.

Book Review - Velveteen Bible

When I requested this book from Booksneeze.com I expected it to be a childrens Bible. The cover, case, and pictures are for children but the Bible itself is for teens and adults. This would, however, make a cute keepsake gift for small children to keep and pass down from generation to generation, in my opinion.

When I see the words "childrens Bible" I think of simple versions of the 'grown up' Bible.
